πŸ‘€ I See What You Did!

β€œBlessed are you, Lord, our God, ruler of the universe who has not created me a woman.” ~ a traditional Jewish morning prayer.

πŸ™πŸ» Heavenly Father, You continue to leave me awestruck.Β  From the controversy of the traditional Jewish prayers to the revelation of Your will in human history, I recommit myself to Your plans. As Your Son, Our Lord, Jesus, taught us to pray… Thy will be done, here on earth… it is in His Name we pray. Amen.

πŸ™πŸ½ Dear Heavenly Father – As we finish reading the book of Acts, we thank You for Luke’s recording of how the early Church began.  We see Your hand in spreading of the Gospel message of salvation. We praise You for two thousand years of communicating through the Spirit so that today, we can still hear Your voice.  Let us respond in a way that honors, pleases, and glorifies You.  We pray this in the name of our Savior, Jesus. Amen.

πŸ™πŸ½ Dear Heavenly Father – We return again today to learn how the early church began.  Let us remember that we are part of Your Church and let us be thankful for the men and women who blazed the path courageously so that we could hear the glorious salvation message of the Gospel today.  We thank You for all that You do in our lives and we are thankful for those who went before us. Amen.

πŸ™πŸ½ Dear Heavenly Father – we humble ourselves as we listen to Your Word.  Let us see Your truth about Your early church. Teach us what it means to a part of Your body, The Church, so that we may always honor You, bring You glory, and allow You to work through us to bring others along to Your Kingdom. We ask this is the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

πŸ™πŸ½ Dear Heavenly Father – This little lost sheep can never thank You enough for the overwhelming and faithful love that You are. You’ve demonstrated this by Your provision of a faithful Shepherd who saves His lost sheep… even me!!! (The largest alabaster jar of the most expensive treasure I own, would not be enough to contain my love and my gratitude to You, for the life You’ve restored.)Β  I draw near again in humble submission to hear what You are ready to speak to my heart today. Strengthen and encourage me; share with me more of Your wisdom, so that I may go where You lead me and honor Your name always. I pray this in the name of my most beautiful Savior, Jesus. Amen.

πŸ™πŸ½ Dear Heavenly Father – reveal to us the truth in Your Word.  In a world that speaks in an abundant flow of worthless words, we are inundated with lies.  We are told to β€˜Look here,’ β€˜Look there,’ β€˜This is the way.’ All these messages promise to fulfill our emptiness, yet they fail to deliver. As we read these chapters, help us understand the truth of who You are and the promises You have for us.  Let us recognize the emptiness of the distracting voices around us. Strengthen and mold us to hear Your Truth so that we cheerfully follow You and You alone.  We pray this in the name of our Savior, Jesus. Amen.
